a little reminder for today

God has not left you, even when He feels quiet.

Maybe you’ve been praying and wondering if God hears you. Maybe you’ve been looking for some sign that He’s near, but everything feels unusually quiet. It can be hard to hold onto what you know about God when you can’t seem to feel His presence.

But God’s nearness isn’t measured by how strongly you feel it. He is still with you in the quiet, in the waiting, and in the moments when you’re wondering where He is. His presence doesn’t disappear simply because you’re having a hard time recognizing it.

You don’t have to force yourself to feel something today. Just come to Him exactly as you are. Talk to Him honestly. Sit with Him quietly. And remember that even in the silence, you are not alone. He is still here.

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE

“The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Deuteronomy 31:8 (NIV)

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

God, remind my heart that You are here.

God, sometimes I know You are with me, but I don’t always feel it. In the quiet seasons, when my prayers seem unanswered or I’m wondering where You are, help me remember that Your presence doesn’t depend on what I can see or feel.

Meet me right where I am today. Help me trust that You are beside me in the waiting, ahead of me in what’s coming, and holding me through the things I don’t understand.

When You feel quiet, help me stay close. Give me faith to trust Your presence even in the silence, and remind my heart again and again that I am never walking alone. Amen.

CARRY THIS WITH YOU

God’s silence does not mean His absence. He is still here.

Come back to this truth whenever God feels far away.
