a little hope for today

This season is not the end of your story.

Maybe things feel a little heavy right now. You’ve been waiting for something to change, praying for an answer, or wondering how long this season is going to last. When you’re standing in the middle of something difficult, it can be hard to imagine that life could look different from where you are today.

Maybe things feel a little heavy right now. You’ve been waiting for something to change, praying for an answer, or wondering how long this season is going to last. When you’re standing in the middle of something difficult, it can be hard to imagine that life could look different from where you are today.

You don’t have to know how everything turns out to have hope today. You only need enough hope for the next step. This chapter is still being written, and God is still in it.

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

Romans 15:13 (NIV)

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

God, help me hold onto hope.

God, You know the places where I’m tired of waiting and the things I’ve been hoping would change. You know the prayers I’ve prayed over and over and the questions I still don’t have answers to.

When I can’t see what You’re doing, help me trust that You are still working. Remind me that this moment is only one part of the story and that my hope doesn’t have to depend on what I can see right now.

Fill my heart with hope for today. Give me the courage to take the next step, the patience to trust Your timing, and the faith to believe that You are with me in every part of this season. Amen.

CARRY THIS WITH YOU

You may not see what God is doing yet, but that doesn’t mean He isn’t working.

Come back to this truth whenever hope feels a little harder to hold onto.
