a little peace for today

You don't have to quiet every thought to find peace.

Maybe your mind feels a little loud today. You're replaying conversations, thinking through everything that needs to get done, or carrying something you can't quite fix. Sometimes we think peace will come once everything settles down—but God doesn't ask you to wait until life is quiet to rest in Him.

His peace can meet you right here, in the middle of the unanswered questions and unfinished things. You don't have to have everything figured out before you come to Him. You can bring Him the worry, the overthinking, the thing you keep trying to carry on your own—and let yourself loosen your grip, even if it's only a little.

So take a breath. You don't have to solve everything today. God is already in the places you're worried about, and you are not carrying this day by yourself.

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE

“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.”

Isaiah 26:3 (NIV)

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

God, meet me in the middle of all of this.

God, You know everything that's on my mind today—the things I'm worried about, the questions I don't have answers to, and the things I keep trying to control.

Help me loosen my grip and trust You with what I can't fix. Quiet the noise in my heart enough for me to remember that You are here, You are good, and I don't have to carry any of this without You.

Give me Your peace for this moment, and help me take today one step at a time. Amen.

CARRY THIS WITH YOU

God is here. I am held. I don't have to figure everything out today.

Come back to this truth whenever your mind starts getting loud again.
